MPagent("we", "us") provides a hosted WhatsApp customer service platform. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect personal data when you use our service.

Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, company name, and password (stored hashed).
  • Customer messages: WhatsApp conversations, contact identifiers, and message content processed on behalf of your business.
  • Usage data: AI reply counts, billing status, and product usage metrics.
  • Technical data: IP addresses, cookies for authentication, and server logs for security and debugging.

How we use data

We use personal data to:

  • Provide and operate the MPagent service
  • Send transactional emails (invites, password resets, handoff alerts)
  • Generate AI-assisted replies using your knowledge base and configuration
  • Process subscription payments via Stripe
  • Comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse

Data processors

We use third-party providers including Meta (WhatsApp Cloud API), Stripe (payments), OpenAI or compatible AI providers (embeddings and chat), and Resend (email). Data is processed only as needed to deliver the service.

Retention

Account and conversation data is retained while your subscription is active. You may request deletion by contacting support. Backups may persist for up to 14 days after deletion.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Contact your account administrator or platform support to exercise these rights.
